Wait list for a 2020 Summer CSA
CSA, or community shared agriculture, is a food distribution method that focuses on local, high-quality, seasonal food and a direct relationship between the farmer and the consumer.

We would like to grow vegetables for you and your family!  The CSA consists of people or families that sign up for a “share” of the farm’s produce.

We have three CSA seasons, spring, summer and fall.
  • The Spring "Salad Lover's" CSA is back and still only available on-farm. It runs weekly from early May to early June and in 2019 the price was $138 for 6 weeks.
  • The summer CSA season runs every week from mid-June to the end of September and in 2019 the price was $420 for 15 weeks.
  • The fall CSA season runs every two weeks from early October until mid-December and in 2019 the price was $360 for 6 weeks (equivalent of 12 weeks of produce).
We offer two pick-up locations for our summer and fall season:
  • On-Farm: 1345 Levac Road on Thursdays from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. (also the only location for our spring share)

  • North Bay: 176 Lakeshore Drive on Wednesdays from 4:00 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.

FAQs about the CSA program

How does the pick-up work?
  • We place your vegetables in a row with little signs that explain how many you are entitled to take.
  • You bring bags and/or boxes with you to the pick-up and take the specified amount of each item.
  • There is also a spot at the end of the line dedicated to exchanging any unwanted produce (see video below for a visual of the pick-up).

What if I am away and can’t come pick up my bin?

We understand that summertime is a busy time, filled with planned cottage vacations and weddings, trips and visits. This shouldn’t keep you from getting a CSA share!  Why not ask someone you know to pick up your bin? Do you owe a favour to a neighbour, a friend or a family member?
Give them the gift of free veggies while you’re away!

What if I forget to come get my bin?

Clients have until midnight the day of the scheduled drop-off to claim their bin. We will then coordinate their pick-up by phone or email.
